Jawitz, Ze'ev
(1847-1924)
   Polish historian. He settled in Palestine in 1888, and worked as a teacher and writer. He left Palestine in 1894 and moved in succession to Vilna, Germany and London. His Toledot Yisrael is a 14-volume history of the Jews.
